September 20 - October 7, 2017
Airports exists between two contemporary dance shows created by Rebecca and Sarah, OVERWORLD 2014 and Underworld 2017. This video installation is a reworked excerpt from Underworld where Claire, Sarah and Rebecca negotiate in-betweens, moving forward in real time, building a backward narrative. They perform movement imagining it in reverse, animating large sheets of plastic. This is captured by a drone in Royal Park's native grassland circle.
Choreographed by Sara Aitken and Rebeccan Jenson
Dancers Sarah Aiken, Rebecca Jensen and Claire Leske
Drone Handler Otto Ivor.
